LILLIAN KULCZYCKI

(HOLOWNIA)

July 4, 1931 - April 4, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian on Saturday April 4, 2026 in the wee hours of the morning. She will be sadly missed and remembered by her husband Ignace.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her younger sister Vicki and many nieces and nephews who brought her much happiness over the years. She was predeceased by her father Stanley, her mother Sophie, her sisters, Frances, Hedy, Mary and her brother, John.

Lillian was born to her parents: Sophie and Stanley Holownia in Keld, Manitoba. After receiving her education, she left for Winnipeg and found employment with Canada Safeway and later with Revenue Canada. She met and married Ignace Kulczycki. They embraced life and together they did many things that life had to offer.

She was kind and very generous and had a creative talent about her. She took up many different crafts; sewing, knitting, ceramics, flower arrangements, etc. This kept her busy throughout her entire life.

After their retirement in 1989, Lillian and her husband moved to Abbotsford, BC to join their many friends and for the next 21 years they enjoyed life tremendously; travelling, camping and spending most winters in the south.

Since Lillian was faced with several health issues, her strong faith and supportive prayers from family and friends enabled her to overcome her health challenges.

With the strong love she had for her family, they moved back to Winnipeg to be closer to them.

Thanks to her sister Vicki for the daily phone calls, her love and help and to the family for their support.
